I screwed up the sock I'm working on. I lost a stitch or two somewhere in the heel flap. It pains me to imagine ripping out almost 1000 stitches, but I don't know enough about socks to figure out how to adapt the heel shaping to less stitches. Plus I don't know where that dropped stitch went and I don't want it unravelling later! I found a mistake in the first pair I made for mom, one stitch was slipped so it sort of stretches across two rows, but its not TOO noticable so it's okay. I doubt mom will even see it with the fancy jacquard patterning.

I need to get more done. I'm halfway through a mess of xmas presents, and have more to sort out, plus christmas cards to make!
